Mosquito cannula - self-releasing

Sterile cannulae from Mosquito are designed by piercers for piercers.

These cannulas differ from conventional cannulas in that no scissors are needed to cut the plastic tube, the cannula itself breaks into three parts as it is pulled out of the puncture. This allows you to ensure the highest level of sterility when using these cannulas.

For the same reason, they are intended only for piercing, they must never be used for intravenous insertion!

Needle diameters and our recommended jewellery sizes:

20G pink - outer diameter 1,1 mm for jewellery size 0,8 mm
18G green - outer diameter 1,3 mm for jewel size 1 - 1,2 mm
17G white - outer diameter 1,5 mm for jewel size 1,2 mm
16G grey - outer diameter 1,75 mm for jewel size 1,6 mm
14G orange - outer diameter 2 mm for jewellery from 1,6 mm to 2 mm.

The injection site should be thoroughly disinfected and other protective equipment such as disposable gloves and sterile jewellery should be used.
