Titanium belly button piercing with internal screw thread.
Size/thickness 1,6 mm, bottom ornament is fixed.
Titanium is ASTM F-136 implant grade and basic non-coloured variant of titanium is suitable as application jewellery.
Basic silver variant can also be anodize to different colours, preserving the properties of the jewellery for the first piercing.
Compared to a conventional external thread, there is no risk of micro-injury and the tips are less prone to loosening.
The coloured variants are factory-painted with a coating that not recommended for the first injection as appropriate.
Titan is still a suitable option for people sensitive to surgical steel.
Jewellery can be sterilised in an autoclave.
